Flexible Spending Accounts are an interesting idea - you put money into an account at the beginning of the year. It’s use it or lose it, but it’s pre-tax. I misjudged this year and have to scramble to get claims in for random medical crap I might need from Amazon. Got me thinking that it would be great if a car-care FSA existed.
Eligible products:
Brake Pads
Tires
Lights
Anything safety related
In all seriousness, maybe people would have safer cars.

I like this plan, would be great for my wife’s car. I never have this issue with my FSA but two kids and family of glasses or contact lens wearers makes it easy to use up funds at the end of the year.

I planned on contacts this year but it turns out that my prescription is kind of weird and the only of the shelf lenses that fit are pretty uncomfortable. So it’s boatloads of sun block for me. Would rather have tax free brake pads. Haha

This. Make America great again! :)
Also maybe maintenance, service-life replacement, and repair needs?
